If you can’t attend this year’s Academy Awards in person, but find yourself in LA, you can still drink like a star, thanks to the bartenders at Loews Hollywood Hotel. The hotel is connected to the Dolby Theatre, where all of the Oscar action will be taking place this Sunday evening.

Loews’ talented bar staff has created six delicious cocktails directly inspired by some of this year’s Best Picture nominees. And the drinks are….

City of Stars, inspired by La La Land (Botanist gin, prosecco, lavender syrup, and lemon juice); NASAangria, inspired by Hidden Figures (rum, triple sec, pinot noir, strawberries, raspberries, agave, and pineapple and orange juice); War of the Worlds, inspired by Arrival (tequila, Kahlúa, Frangelico, half and half, espresso, and whipped cream); Miami Vices, inspired by Moonlight (tequila, lychee liqueur, lime juice, and jalapeño syrup); Say Uncle, inspired by Manchester by the Sea (Irish whiskey, Domaine de Canton ginger liqueur, Sam Adams Boston Lager, and grenadine); and Troy’s Boys, inspired by Fences (gin, lime juice, agave, peach bitters, and mulled peaches). The cocktails will be available only until the winner of the category is announced.

A few miles west of Loews Hollywood Hotel, another celebrity-studded hangout, The Polo Lounge at the Beverly Hills Hotel, will also be serving up special cocktails in honor of Oscar weekend. Try The Leading Man with bourbon, Antica Formula vermouth, bitters, maraschino cherry, and a lemon twist; the Tinsel Town has Casamigos blanco tequila, crème de cassis, and Thienot Champagne; The Leading Lady combines Flor de Caña rum, Clément Creole Schrub, guava, and pineapple juice; and The Walk of Fame blends Hangar 1 Citron vodka, Pavan liqueur, lavender syrup, and blueberries.

On Feb. 24, the Friday before the Oscars, the “Film is GREAT Britain” campaign will host a reception honoring all the nominees from the United Kingdom at the trendy Fig & Olive restaurant. Stars, directors, producers, and writers will enjoy film-inspired cocktails featuring United Kingdom-centric spirits. The drinks here will include the Red Carpet Kickoff (London Dry gin, Tempus Fugit Alessio Vermouth Di Torino, and Luxardo bitters); In The Moonlight i(Glenrothes Vintage Reserve scotch, Tempus Fugit Alessio Vermouth Di Torino, Luxardo Sangue Morlacco cherry liqueur, and orange juice); Lions Punch (London Dry gin, dry vermouth, sweet vermouth, and unsweetened pineapple juice); and Mulled Cider and Cigarettes — inspired by the short film Pear Cider and Cigarettes — made with The King’s Ginger liqueur, hard apple cider, and fresh apple juice.

They will also be serving a number of cocktails inspired by Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them [no spoilers here] including a “Gin Snidget” with London Dry gin, Tempus Fugit Kina L'Aero D'or, and Fever Tree tonic water; The Ginger Griffin with The King's Ginger liqueur and Ridgeview English sparkling wine; Never Tickle A Sleeping Dragon (The King's Ginger liqueur and Glenrothes vintage reserve scotch); and Muggle Punch (The King's ginger liqueur, and lemonade.

Whether you are hosting an Oscar’s party or watching the awards at a local bar, these delicious cocktails will make you red carpet ready.
